Math Learning Wooden Set

This Math Learning Set is a great teaching aid for children who start learning numbers and arithmetic. Indeed, this Montessori educational material includes math signs, colored counting sticks and wooden number tiles.

The numbers will introduce children to the written symbols, while the signs will introduce the more mature ones to calculation (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication). The counting sticks are also a great tool to teach how to count as it allows them to connect the symbols to the quantities. Moreover, the sticks make practice easier, mainly thanks to their bright color.

In this set, the counting sticks come in 4 different colors (red, blue, green and yellow) so that the child's mind can visualize the calculation easily. 

The content of the Math Learning Wooden Set permits you to use it in many ways to improve the child's math and counting skills. First, of course, as a calculation tool, then as a counting material, and even as a means to teach colors.

For instance, if you want to use this Montessori toy as a way to teach numbers, you can ask children to point out a series of numbers you dictate, or ask them to put the right number of sticks around the number of your choice. This last exercise will also work hand-eye coordination.
