Product Description: The Pink Tower consists of ten pink wooden cubes that differ in its 3 dimensions and whose sizes increase progressively in the algebraic number of the third power. The first cube measures one cubic centimeter whilst the last one is 10cm3. These ten cubes can be stacked from bigger to smaller putting together a tall pink tower.  The plain pink color allows no distractions and helps the child focus on the work of the material.

Educational and fun go hand in hand: The Pink Tower is a Montessori material that belongs to the Sensorial Area, more specifically used for the visual sense exploration and development. As the child plays with the tower he can visually discriminate the difference in dimensions and sizes. He can also differentiate the weight of each cube simply by grabbing them. The biggest cube requires being held with both hands because of its weight. This educational toy aims to help the child create a mental order of the stacked cubes which will help him prepare for his mathematical mind. It is important the child can explore the putting together of the tower allowing him to become his own control of error when the visual disharmony of the cubes order impacts him. Further on, the child will be asked to take to the other vacant spot the cubes one by one in the correct order so as to build the Pink Tower. This way he develops his memory as well as his hand muscle control. The Pink Tower is also a very purposeful wooden toy since it also allows Language exploration and enrichment. The adult can play with the child while teaching him Comparatives and Superlatives by asking him to bring the smallest or biggest cube or a smaller/bigger than another one. In this manner the child can construct the tower while the adult provides him the language and instructions to do so.
